Dear Parents/Caregivers,

As part of their study in Geography, Year 8 students are being

offered the opportunity to attend a whole day excursion in Sydney
CBD. Students will have the opportunity to extend their
knowledge on Natural Disasters by participating in an Extreme
Weather workshop held by the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences.
The excursion also includes a guided tour through Barangaroo
NSW, where they will be provided with an opportunity to examine
Urban Growth and Development within Sydney.

Important Information:
When: Thursday 22nd March 2018
Where: Sydney Observatory & Barangaroo Reserve/South
Barangaroo
Depart: 8:30am
Return: Students will be dismissed from school at 3:00pm on
the same day
Meals: students are to bring their own morning tea and lunch,
as there will be no opportunity to purchase food.
Price: $30
Special Arrangements: students are required to bring their own
pens, hats, sunscreen and a bottle of water. In wet weather
conditions an umbrella is also required.

Please fill out the permission note and return it to the

office with the full amount before the 12th of March 2018. This
excursion is compulsory, students who do not return permission
notes will be expected to attend school as per normal, make-up
work will be provided.

‫كجزء من دراستهم في الجغرافيا‪ ،‬يتم عرض الطلاب السنة ‪ 8‬الفرصة لحضور رحلة يوم كامل في‬
‫سيدني كبد‪ .‬سوف تتاح للطلاب الفرصة لتوسيع معارفهم حول الكوارث الطبيعية من خلال المشاركة‬
‫في ورشة عمل الطقس المتطرفة التي عقدها متحف الفنون التطبيقية والعلوم‪ .‬وتشمل الرحلة‬
‫أيضا جولة مرشدة من خلال باران ارو نيو ساوث ويلز‪ ،‬حيث سيتم توفير فرصة لدراسة النمو الحضري‬
‫والتنمية داخل سيدني‪.‬‬

‫المواد الغذائية‪.‬‬

‫ترتيبات خاصة‪ :‬يطلب من الطلاب لجلب الأقلام الخاصة بهم‪ ،‬والقبعات‪ ،‬واقية من الشمس وزجاجة‬
