Jhajhar town has a Population of approximately 1 million & it is district headquarters

catering to adjoining areas.

Mandi Should handle transaction of 5,000 M.T. of Fruit & Vegetable should comprise of

1. Cold Stores for 800 M.T. 4 nos.

2. Cold Stores for 400 M.T. 4 nos.
3. Ware House 200 M.T. each 2 nos.

Other outlets to handle upto

4. 100 M.T. Transaction every day 30/units.

5. 30 M.T. Transaction every day 60/Units.

6. Retail outlets for 30 stalls for regular users for customers doing personal
consumption shopping .

Space for Services

7. Electrical sub station with power backup facility.

8. Water supply system with grey water storage tanks.
9. Drainage system.
10. Garbage disposal with organic waste collection to be used for power regeneration

11. A 2 tender Fire station with adequate amenities.

12. A Police control Station in the campus with parking facility. Approximate area of
land to be provided 400 sqmtr.

Must have adequate provision for Truck, Vehicle parking & properly organised pedestrian
& material movement. Care has to be taken while designing all services with due
consideration for power backup, distribution of water supply i.e. potable water, grey
water, water for other use.
