DO’S

 Students should attend the laboratory wearing the prescribed uniform


and shoes.
 Students should be regular & on time to the lab sessions.
 Every student should know the location and operating procedure of all
safety equipment including First aid kit (s) and Fire extinguisher.
 Study the theory behind the experiment before coming to the lab.
Should prepare for viva questions regularly.
 Submit the completed record of previously conducted experiment &
update the index card and Maintain observation book written with
experiments to be conducted for the day.
 Take the signature of the staff in-charge before taking the components.
 Note down the specifications of the devices and equipments used in the
observation book.
 Handle the equipments, devices and components carefully.
 Before energizing Checked and okayed the circuit rigged up ,by the staff
in charge.
 To make any changes in the circuit, disconnect the power supply and the
input signal.
 Note down the proper readings in the observation book.
 After completion of the experiments switch off the power supply.
 Any failure or break down of equipment must be reported to the staff
in-charge.
 Handover the components to the lab instructor / mechanic
 Do the necessary calculations and draw the graph if any Show the
obtained results to the staff in charge and get initiated.
 Should maintain discipline and silence in the lab.
 Attend the lab sessions regularly.

DON’T’S
 Do not come late to the lab.
 Do not exceed the Voltage / Current rating of the devices and speed of
the motor.
 Do not energize the equipments and circuits without getting it Checked
by the staff in-charge.
 Do not spoil the components, connecting wires and patch chords
 Avoid loose connections and short circuits.
 Students are not allowed to work in laboratory alone or without
presence of the staff in charge.
 Do not touch any cable or components without staff /laboratory
technician permission.
