Dear Sir/ Madam,

Request for Industrial Visit

On behalf of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering UiTM Shah Alam, I am writing this letter to get
permission on visiting your company.

2. As part of the syllabus for Materials and Design of Process Equipment (CPE 601) for student in
Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Chemical programme, industrial visit is mandatory, so as to provide
students with real insight of chemical plant design. It will be addition to our poor knowledge and great
pleasure to visit your company and get the chance to learn from the real industry. The main purpose
of the visit is to give an opportunity to students to learn more about real plant design. During the visit,
student should be able to observe the physical equipment associated to the plant, overview of the
process involved, safety consideration involves in the design of the plant, and exposure on the real
industry.

The followings are the details:

Tentative date : 1st November 2018

Time : 2:00 p.m – 5:00 pm.
Participant : 41 students and 1 lecturer
