private prosecutor in the above-entitled case now pending trial before MCTC,
Lilo-an, Cebu.

May I, therefore, respectfully request for authority from your office to

actively prosecute the said case pursuant to Section 5, Rule 110 of the Revised
Rules on Criminal Procedure, as amended by an En Banc Resolution of the
Supreme Court in A.M. No. 02-02-07-SC dated May 1, 2002.

In order to protect the interest of the State, I shall personally take full
charge in the prosecution of the said case until its termination and shall not
withdraw from the case without prior approval of the court.
