New Hope Baptist Church in San Félix is bursting at the seams. Sunday school
classrooms are filled to capacity so we may have to begin holding some classes outside.
So many people are attending services that we are in need of purchasing one or two
small buses to be able to bring everyone. Visitors arrive almost every Sunday and they
are even bringing other visitors! One Sunday in October, over 100 people attended and
10 children accepted Christ that day!
Ethan has been busy preaching and teaching over the last two
months. He preached in Rio Fonseca, in Oma, and in Tugrí at a
regional youth conference with over 100 youth in attendance. He also
preached in Playa Las Lajas twice last month and will be preaching
there again twice next month. He recently took part in a Pastoral/
Leadership Conference and has been organizing youth group activities
for New Hope. Just this week Ethan finished teaching Public Speaking
class at the Bible Institute. Our school year is now over and our team is
gearing up for Independence month and holiday festivities. Then after
the first of the year, we dive into VBS and summertime activities.

Thank you for praying for Beth’s mom, Erine Watts. Her cancer is GONE!
She had suspended treatments due to side effects and yet she is now in remission. The
doctor “can’t explain it,” but we know it’s the power of prayer and the Great Physician!
