TEAM DANGER ZONE

UNIFORM STANDARDS AND PRACTICES

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT PER DIVISION

As a cohesive team, maintaining a certain uniform standard is part of what makes us attractive
to sponsors and identifiable as a unit. As a member of Team Danger Zone, you are expected to conform
to the standard set forth in this document.

1. Patterns: we wear Multicam or Scorpion for any tan faction. For green factions we wear: pants
in Multicam Tropic and Shirts in Ranger Green.

2. Uniform: pants and shirt are required. Pants must have the following features: cargo pocket, belt
loops, ankle must be able to be bloused (this is a safety issue for sites where ticks/chiggers are
extremely prevalent). Shirt must be long sleeve with velcro-style loop material on both
shoulders. You must be able to display team patches and tapes according to our standard. Any
style shirt is allowed, except for Massif style combat shirts which are strictly prohibited.

3. Head cover: helmets are not required. If wearing a helmet, it must match the team's paint
scheme or bear a cover matching the pattern worn at that event. The team's paint scheme is
currently a snakeskin pattern with dark green over a brown base and light green accents. This
means that you must have a painted helmet for green bearing the official scheme and you must
use a Multicam helmet cover for tan. If wearing a hat or other head cover, it must match the
pattern or base color worn for that game.

4. Gear: all soft goods (plate carrier, belt, etc) must be coyote, FDE, tan, or multicam in color
and/or pattern. Other colors/patterns are allowed as long as they don’t make up more than 10%
of your total loadout.

5. Weapon: all members are required to maintain a functioning primary weapon in 6mm. National
Division members must maintain a backup weapon in addition to this primary (not including
sidearm(s)). All members must have at least one primary weapon that is capable of passing a
chronograph at 1.55 Joules (366fps with a .25 gram 6mm BB)

6. Radio: all members are required to maintain a functioning radio kit. This kit must include a
programmable radio conforming to our standard (currently must be able to accept all
FRS/GMRS/True GMRS channels and privacy codes). This kit must also include an earpiece of
some type that allows the user to communicate without receptions being heard out loud.
If the radio is not on the list of supported models, the user must have the ability to program the
unit themselves. Current supported models include: Baofeng/Puxing UV-82 (all versions),
Baofeng/Puxing UV5r (standard version, not the 5+), Wouxun UVD-1P. National division
members are required to maintain a spare battery for their radio.

7. Exceptions:
-Adjunct members are not required to meet these standards unless they attend an event with the team.
While doing so, and adjunct member must conform to the standard set forth for Local Division at least.

-Players in the “sniper” or “spotter” roles at an event may wear whatever pattern/gear suits them
for camouflage/functionality purposes so long as it conforms to game rules. This does not
remove the requirement for them to own the requisite uniform/equipment listed above.
-The team Captain may, at any time, issue an exception to these standards for a particular
member or event. Such an exception will be considered on a case by case basis and should be
referred to the Captain for review well in advance of any event where the exception may be
relevant.

-Members are not required to conform to these standards when attending a regular recreational
day unless informed otherwise. The team's Media Officer may request full uniform in either
pattern for a recreational day if there is a need to shoot photos or video for team use.

-Uniforms are not required for any team event that is not an Airsoft game or practice.

8. Prohibited items: members should take care that they are representing the team in a professional
manner. To this end, no item (including patches) may be worn that advertises the products or
services of a direct competitor to any person or entity who has entered into a business
relationship with the team. For example, as we are a Wolverine Airsoft sponsored team, no
“polarstar” patches or apparel may be worn at team events. The exception to this rule is that
“GCB” airsoft patches and apparel are allowed (we have permission for this from Red Tactical).
