The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office
reported 212 calls and incidents from
Aug. 21 through Aug. 26.
Aug. 21
At 12:03 a.m., dogs were barking and
acting strange in an area with a lot of
thefts.
At 5:39 a.m., a motorist reported a
truck and trailer parked in a turn lane and
the driver had his head on the wheel.
At 3:39 p.m., two suspicious men were
walking around a building but didn’t meet
anyone and left.
At 4:08 p.m., a caller said her dog was
bitten by the neighbor dog in her own
yard.
At 4:12 p.m., a German shepherd was
left at the Boulder Community Center.
At 4:44 p.m., a business asked a deputy
to check on a person’s welfare.
At 6:15 p.m., a friend said two people
went hiking to Titcomb Basin and she
hadn’t heard from them. They called later
and were fine.
At 7:59 p.m., six cows were roaming
on people’s property.
At 9:31 p.m., a caller reported a person
was suicidal.
Aug. 22
At 8:04 a.m., business employees
caught the mama cat whose kittens had
been picked up.
At 9:07 a.m., a theft was reported.
At 9:16 a.m., four sheep were next to
the highway.
At 10:42 a.m., an expensive bike re-
ported stolen was actually being ridden
by a friend.
At 4:04 p.m., a deputy checked on a
horse; it is old and had food and water.
At 4:28 p.m., a round hay bale fell off a
truck into the middle of the road.
At 6:18 p.m., a caller contacted a dep-

a medical emergency.
At 10:41 a.m., a jet pilot at the Pine-
dale Airport heard a mayday call and had
no more information. The aircraft landed
safely at another airport.
At 11:27 a.m., a truck hit a deer.
At 1:44 a.m., two vehicles collided.
At 1:30 p.m., a caller said her husband
and son weren’t out of the mountains and
were supposed to be out Wednesday. The
hikers were not due out for another day.
At 5:25 p.m., the Forest Service re-
ported finding some property.
At 8:23 p.m., a caller asked a deputy to
check on someone’s welfare.
Aug. 24
At 5:30 a.m., a person had an accident
in Hoback Canyon.
At 7 a.m., about a dozen moose were
crossing the highway.
At 7:59 a.m., an injured eagle was be-
side the highway.
At 12:47 p.m., black cows were on the
highway.
At 3:34 p.m., a caller reported lost
property.
At 4:13 p.m., two 3-month-old kittens
need to be caught.
At 6:04 p.m., a medical emergency was
reported.
At 8:30 p.m., a caller said a Great Dane
was loose and looked really tired but she
couldn’t catch it.
At 9:39 p.m., a suspicious van parked
in front of the caller’s driveway drove

the influence of a controlled substance,
second offense in 10 years; possession
of controlled substance, liquid, less than
.3 of a gram; failing to drive in a single
lane.
Scott A. Hunsaker: Driving under
the influence of a controlled substance
and alcohol, first offense; possession of
marijuana.
David G. Ross, Sr.: Two counts of ac-
cessory before the fact; failure to tag big
game.
Brenden W. R. O’Hagan: Waste/
abandon big game.
Michael Denison: Criminal entry;
possession of marijuana.
Donald L. Campbell: Criminal tres-
pass; breach of peace.
Challis David: Driving under the in-
fluence.

At 7:49 a.m., a caller reported a do-
mestic dispute.
At 10:28 a.m., dispatch did a test call
for a woman having a baby.
At 10:36 a.m., a person was having a
stroke.
At 5:21 p.m., a caller said a bearded
man was very drunk and driving.
