Right Hand Picking
Overview:
Learning right hand picking technique and patterns with PIMA system.

PIMA system:

Each finger is assigned to a string on the ukulele, starting with the thumb on the
string closest to you.

P – Thumb, I – Index finger, M – Middle finger, A – Ring finger.

When picking each string, avoid “pulling” right hand away from the instrument.

Picking Patterns Using PIMA:

Once comfortable with a picking pattern, try holding chords with the left hand while finger picking with the right.
