The Get Into programme offers hands on experience and qualifications to unemployed young people in
a range of vocational professions, giving them the chance to 'get into' employment by equipping them
with the relevant skills and knowledge. As Programme Executive, I am responsible for the delivery
of our programmes and the overall outcomes. Responsibilities include liaising with external delivery
partners, running sessions, monitoring results and ensuring positive outcomes for our young people.

In my time as a Private Tutor, I have assisted with the curricular learning of 5-16 within their specified
subject area, this includes; liaising with parents, assessing student's needs, monitoring and developing
skills, devising activities and sessions to enhance learning, helping deal with educational and social

During my time as a Nanny I have worked with a number of different families, looking after children
aged 3-14. My main responsibilities while in this role were: picking children up from school, taking
them home, providing constant supervision and care, making healthy snacks and dinners, supervising
art and crafts activities, reading to and with the children, keeping the house clean and tidy (bedrooms
and play areas), being firm but fair with the children and disciplining them when required, helping with
homework, bathing children and putting them to bed.

other key stakeholders. My duties include: answering the phone, data management - using Microsoft
Excel and Salesforce, meeting targets, delivering outstanding support and customer service, handling

NCS Assistant Programme Leader


The Challenge

My role as the Assistant Programme Leader on NCS "The Challenge" was to support the Programme
leader and the six Senior Mentors with the pastoral care and behaviour management 65 15-17
years on the programme, whilst upholding "The Challenge's" core principals at all times. My key
responsibilities were inclusion, discipline, and emotional and behavioural support of the young people
and staff. I was also in charge of petty cash and reporting any incidents that had occurred.

ICS Volunteer
Restless Development
2016 to April 2016
I volunteered on a project with Restless Development, as part of DFID's ICS programme. While on the
programme I worked within communities in rural southern India conducting workshops and projects
on health, sanitation and livelihoods and conducted research for projects, held sessions in Universities
and schools, ran a youth center; facilitating Art, English and Music workshops. I also helped organised
large-scale events (i.e. International Women's Day), and implemented community outreach programs.

During my time working with 'The Challenge' I was responsible for inspiring, leading and developing
a group of twelve young people on their journey with NCS. My main responsibilities while in this
role were: to live residentially with the young people, providing pastoral care, supervising activities,
encouraging engagement within the programme and activities, working with other members of staff to
ensure all members of the programme are engaged, addressing challenging behavior, supporting those
with extra needs.

My main responsibilities were, one to one support with a special needs pupil, tracking his progress,
one to one teaching of core subjects, assisting other members of teaching staff, supervising breaks,
assisting children with English, Maths, Art and Science and cooking lunch.

Campaign Executive
March 2014 to July 2014
My responsibilities whilst in this role were campaigning on the streets on Hampshire, informing the
public about renewable energy and collecting signatures in support of the Bullingdon Cross windfarm.
Unfortunately, the campaign wasn't successful - but it secured 2840 signatures, gaining the title "most
successful windfarm campaign in history"
