Iceberg Mover:: Towed Away International Ice Patrol
Iceberg Mover:: Towed Away International Ice Patrol
Here's a job for someone who's looking for something a little quieter.
Even icebergs park in the wrong place sometimes and they need to be towed
away. After the Titanic sunk, the International Ice Patrol was set up to
address the problem and keep the seas clear. This job is to keep an eye on the
North Atlantic Ocean and move any icebergs that might get in the way of a
ship or an oil rig or anything that doesn't do well with iceberg collision.
An iceberg mover is paid $20,000 annually
I can explain you how they are towed away but is better to see with
your eyes so I found an interesting animation abouat how icebergs
are moved.
