Ansel Adams took a black-and-white photo in 1943 titled "Farm, farm workers, Mt. Williamson in background, Manzanar Relocation Center, California" that shows farmers working in a field with mountains in the background. The photo uses lines and shades of grey to depict the hard work and create a sense of melancholy, with three layers distinguished by color differences. While the photo has depth, the angle and unbalanced subjects could be improved upon.

Ansel Easton Adams was an American landscape photographer and
environmentalist. His black-and-white images American National Park, have been widely reproduced. He used his works to promote environmental movements. Title of this picture is Farm, farm workers, Mt. Williamson in background, Manzanar Relocation Center, California it’s a photo by Ansel Adams published in 1943 The photo has some farmers working in field and mountains in the background in grey and white. This photo has lines that helps you to view the photo easier, its grey color gives the feeling of hard work and I think because of the mountains and color mix it has melancholia. Photo has a depth to it but it’s easy to see the back because of the leading lines. It looks like this photo has three layers because of the color differences between different distances. I think it could have been better if he would aim his shoot from another angel where he could balance the mountain and the farmers to create a symmetry. Also for me the angle of the lines is disturbing too.
