    Plumbing Layout

    Water distribution system - is the network of pipes and fittings for conveying water to the
    plumbing fixtures while the system of pipes and fittings for carrying off wastes is referred to as
    sanitary installation

    TYPES OF LINES USED IN DRAWING SCHEMATIC

    Clean water lines are represented on a plan by a visible line and dashes

    Sanitary lines are represented by a bold continuous line

    Fixtures are indicated by their common symbols

    Storm drainage lines are drawn with two invisible lines that run parallel to each other.

    While vent pipes are bold hidden lines.
