LETTER TO THE PARENTS
SUBJECT: Practicum Program
It has always been the school’s primary objective to give its graduates a well-
rounded education, an education that equips its alumni not only with the necessary
knowledge but also the skills needed for their future job. To realize this objective, the
Business Administration Program implements a practicum program as part of the
requirement of the Business Administration Curriculum for its graduating students. The
program is expected to bring to reality the merging of the theories and concepts learned
in the classroom with actual practices in the workplace, thereby making the graduating
students better prepared for their first job.
Arrangements are made with different companies which are willing to provide
them the chance to participate in actual on-the-job training. We cannot guarantee
however, the absence of untoward incidents/s completely. It is in this connection that
we request that you indicate your consent through your signature on the enclosed
waiver. This is a standard operating procedure adopted by all schools which have opted
for the off-campus practicum program.
We are certain that you are one with us in our desire to provide your children with
a truly bright future. If you are agreeable to the above condition, please affix your
signature below.

Dear Sir/Ma'am:
The Graduating students of the Business Administration Program with Marketing
Management as their major, are sent out for their Onthe JobTraining Practicum of 200 hours
each, to private or public institutions, as part of the course requirement of the Business
Administration Program Curriculum for graduating students and as per CHED order.
This practice has a twofold objective: To enable students to observe and at the same time
get involved in translating into action the principles and theories they have learned in th
classroom: and to enable them to get actual exposure in a company work atmosphere, thereby
gain more confidence when they formally join the world of work after graduation.
We believe your renowned service organization is in the best position to help our
students.
The arrangements for this Practicum are:
1. Students will have the opportunity to observe, learn, and do different tasks in a real work
setting;
2. Students will be given the chance to have exposure in the different divisions/department
of the establishment;
3. Students concerned attend classes regularly during the semester;
4. They work parttime in offices on offclass session as an apprentice;
5. They report for weekly conference in the school every Wednesday at a scheduled time.
6. Their work performance will be evaluated by their immediate superiors and will form
60% of their final grade. The trainee will be monitored by the college practicum
professor and program.
7. The training period is equivalent to 300 hours attendance, subject to adjustment
according to the needs of the office on which they train and of the students in connection
with their school and work; and
8. It is optional for the organization to give allowance to the trainee.
9. The OJT Company will provide a Certificate of Completion to the student trainee after
finishing the required number of hours.
We endorse Bryle Anthony M. Sa
ñez to render Onthe JobTraining/Practicum in your
agency/company.
We look forward for your approval on this matter.
Very truly yours,
Eva Dulu Palen
Practicum Professor
