Charlie Brown and Snoopy are sledding down a hill that is inclined Ө degrees from horizontal.

The total weight of Charlie, Snoopy, and the sleed is M. The sled is essentially frictionless but
the air resistance of the sledders is proportional to the square of their velocity. Write the
equations describing their position x, relative to the top of the hill (x=0). Charlie likes to "belly
flop", so their initial velocity at the top of the hill is v0. What would happen if Snoopy jumped
off the sled halfway down the hill without changing the air resistance?
solution
The force experienced by mass M is determined by one of which is the mass component parallel
to the hill Fg = M g cents Ө, because mass M travels with velocity v then there is air resistance
which influences it, air resistance Fr = k v2. Then the working style can be solved with Newton 2
law, namely:
Force = F, so force work is : F = M a
F is the total force that works
v = dx/dt, with K is constant shape of objects.
𝑑2 𝑥
M 𝑑𝑡 2 = 𝐹𝑔 + 𝐹𝑟

𝑑2 𝑥 𝑑𝑥 2
M 𝑑𝑡 2 = M g sin Ө - K( 𝑑𝑡 )

𝑑𝑥
When xt=0 = 0 dan ( 𝑑𝑡 )t=0 = v0

Assuming that halfway through the train had reached the maximum speed after Snoopy jumped,
Charlie Brown would have reduced speed. Because Fg is influenced by the period of M that
works on the system, when it does not jump the train will be faster because of the influence of
mass M and also the gravitational tendency to draw to the center of the earth..

F = M a\
a = percepatan (turunan kedua dari kecepatan)
