2 Are all BOP have valid Certificates? (Check for the
avalaible documents of BOP)

COC from OEM or OEM authorised third party agency

3 along with complete inspection reports avalaible?
(Hydrostatic proof test,hydraulic oprating system
test,BOP Elements H2S media test)
4 Any major repair or remanufacture is carried out on BOP?
If yes, avaliableity of previous inspection records?

Is the OEM have valid API 16A approval? If yes, check the
5 API approval letter avaliable at site? (API website can be
reffrred to check approval)

6 Is OEM plate or OEM authorized agency plate after

recertification avalible on BOP? ( Check all Details like, test
date, due date, Serial Number, API Monogram etc.)
7 Is certifying third party agency have valid OEM
authorization letter and API16A approval?
8 Is the BOP lifting clamp have valid load test and NDT
reports?
If BOP is refubrished/repaired, if any parts are replaced
Check if these parts are OEM approved and have API
9 monogram? (Check Parts no. and certificate from OEM
with API monogram)
