MABINI CELEBRATES ITS 100TH YEARS

Mabinians are celebrating our 100 years of foundation. Mabini was inaugurated on the year 1918, with Captain
Francisco Castillo, known as the founder of our town. Mr. Noel “Bitrics” Luistro, our municipal mayor, said this year's
centennial celebration is centered on the theme “LARGA MABINI”. In line with our celebration, the city has laid out a
series of activities that will definitely hype the centennial celebration.
Last October 27, 2017 to February 10, 2018, we witnessed the different programs executed by our local
government. It was started last October 27 2017: Car and Motor Show, October 28: Fun Run for Rotary Club of Mabini
and Battle of the Bands. December 19: Municipal Christmas Party, December 26: Car and Motor show (VIP Production)
and followed by the remarkable “SALUBONG SA SENTENARYO” that was happened last December 31, 2017. Last
month, January 1, 2018 was the Launching/ First Presentation of the Official Candidates of Mutya ng Mabini and Wreath
Laying Ceremony, January 26: Fun Run, February 10: Mabini Business Circle, A Fund Raising Event with a theme “
Dine Sing Dance this Valentine” and Search for Mr. and Ms. Day Care that was conducted by Mrs. Gina Silang of
DSWD.
According to Mr. Albert Mendoza, an event organizer in Mabini, the celebration will still continue and starting
from March 31 – April 25, 2018, this will be the list and schedule of activities and events:
