What scientific issues cause debate in your country ? Explain why the issue is controversial
and give your own opinion.

Genetic engineering technology is controversial in my country. Many people are against this
technology, because of their religious beliefs. I think that this technology are right in some contexts.

First of all , in my opinion, it is correct for cure some diseases, for example, cancer, when some
illness is badly, scientifics must found some remedy for it.
Today a lot of people have bad diseases and only with engineering technology it is possible found
one thing that raise who are ill patients.

In contrast, I don´t like this technology for things what haven´t some important finallity. I think it
isn´t important and could be worse for humanity.
One issue that talked about genetic babies, and it is controversial in my country, while, many
people think that this new is terrible. I think that for the cure of some illness, it could be better than
nothing else.

In conclusion, good technology or advanced technology for some importants things is better than no
remedy for worse sickness.
