I. COURSE TITLE: Interpersonal Communication and Participatory Development


Communication

II. COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course covers the principles, concepts, and processes of
person-to-person communication and their application to participatory development work.

III. NUMBER OF CREDIT UNITS: 3 units

IV. NUMBER OF HOURS PER WEEK: 2 hours lecture, 3 hours lab

V. PREREQUISITE: DC 20 (Intro to DevCom), DC 21 (Intro to Comm Theory), DC 22 (Media


writing)

VI. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: At the end of the semester, the students will be able to:
