WARSAW, Ind.—The world knows Steven Tyler as the hard-living lead

Holcomb, Steven Tyler was the man who in 1975 coerced her into
aborting their son and decades later lamented the decision in his 2012
autobiography.

Peter Heck to serve as Master of Ceremonies

Author, speaker, teacher and broadcaster Peter Heck will serve as the Master of Ceremony for the 2016
Legacy for Life Banquet.

“Serving as the emcee for the 20 Annual Legacy of Life Banquet is going to be a special treat,” said
th

author and professional speaker Peter Heck. “Julia Holcomb’s story is intriguing because of its star
power but painfully common among so many young people today who are faced with unplanned,
unintended pregnancies. Her and Mr. Tyler’s regret illustrate the side of the abortion story our media
overwhelmingly neglects, and I’m thrilled to be part of an event that will provide hope and truth our
culture desperately needs.”

Peter Heck is the author of three books and serves as a contributing columnist for the Indianapolis Star,
American Thinker, The Washington Times, and more. A public high school civics teacher since 2001,
Peter has won numerous regional and state awards. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana
Wesleyan University and a Master’s in Political Science from Ball State University. Peter and his wife,
Jenny, raise their three children in Kokomo, Indiana.
