Choking of Condenser III tubes leading to internal corrosion and
subsequent leaks. As of now total 129 out of 479 tubes have been plugged in train A and 13 out of 479 tubes have been plugged in train B. Severe choking in bottom six rows tubes as compared to other tubes. Dechoking could not be achieved with hydro jetting. Erosion of refractory in Condenser III channel. Corrosion on demister pad of Condenser III and tail gas Coalescer even after the use of higher grade metallurgy. Leaks in outlet line of condenser III to tail gas Coalescer. Hard adherent process deposits in downstream piping of Condenser III. Chequer wall refractory block inside main combustion chamber was observed to have fallen down in both trains. Corrosion in Burner gun, swirl vane and volute of main combustion chamber. Blackish process deposits were observed in Condenser I & II tubes.
