 Introduction

This assignment will focus on S.L.M as a 27 year old female with complaints of abnormal

nausea, abdominal cramping and discomfort associated with migraines which occur close to the

time when she experiences menstruation. This health promotion plan will focus on her health

issues and factors that place her at risk for other associated problems, accurate and appropriate

wellness activities for each issue, and the identification of positive outcomes for each issue. As

an individual who is experiencing symptoms that may be associated with endometreosis, she also

reports a strong family history that places her at risk for this, specifically she indicated that her

maternal grandmother passed away from complications related to cervical cancer.
