STUDENT’S ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL EVALUATION

Name of Student: Rowel C. Seno

Address: Duterte St., Suba, Danao City
Date of Birth: March 7, 2002
Age: 16 years old
Gender: Male

BACKGROUND

Rowel is a 16-year old boy and a good-natured student. He has been studying at Kepler Insight School
of Science and Arts for three years. He was transferred here last 2015 and he was first enrolled as a Grade 3
student. Rowel is currently learning and developing consistently as a Grade 6 student.

ACADEMIC OBSERVATION

Rowel has been showing a consistent improvement on his studies. He can read at a faster pace
compared before and his reading comprehension has increased. He can analyze and perform basic
mathematical operations with a close supervision from his teacher. His English-speaking skills has also
developed, and he can now introduce himself in front of the class with less pauses and errors. He can also
write short essays and his handwriting has improved including in cursive form. He is also doing fine on his
music classes and he seemed to be interested in learning new musical pieces by himself. Rowel continuously
shows interest to learn more and his dedication to his studies is evident. However, despite of these steady
development, his status is still incomparable to those students of his age.

SOCIAL OBSERVATION

Rowel is seen to be naturally shy and quiet. He seems to be more comfortable on being alone.
However, he appears to be a little bit more open and outgoing than before, though he is not entirely socially
confident. He can now engage himself in a conversation with his classmates and he can even initiate
interaction with his friends. He also started to express more of himself by sharing his concerns and questions
to his teachers without much hesitation and consciousness. His confidence has improved as seen on his
capability of having and maintaining eye contact while speaking to his classmates or teachers. These gradual
yet stable changes on his socialization skills are probably influenced by the comfortable environment of the
school and the friendly and understanding personality of his classmates. In spite of these remarkable
development, Rowel’s nature of being shy and reserved is still evident.
