Dear Kaytie Thies,

I am pleased and hopeful about writing to you about the substitute teacher
position available at Heritage Elementary School. I am a graduated elementary education
major from Arizona State University. I heard about this position from the Arizona
education job listings website. This position particularly stuck out to me because of its
need for the employee to be ready at any moment in case of call outs from lead teachers. I
would be the perfect candidate for this position due to my extremely flexible schedule. I
also not only meet the requirement of high school diploma but also exceed it with my
addition of a bachelors of arts in education. I also have a wide range of experience
working with children through summer camps, volunteer, teaching Sunday school and
