Romeo and Benvolio were at basketball practice. Romeo was showing Benvolio how to do a lay up.
Romeo noticed that Benvolio fell down after he did his lay up. Romeo lifted Benvolio up. Benvolio told
Romeo that he was out of shape. He has not exercised regularly for five years. Romeo encouraged
Benvolio that had videos for exercises he could do at home. Benvolio thanked Romeo.
When I saw Benvolio and Romeo later in the day, they were looking at the site. The site had a lot of
videos. Later in the day, I joined them. We were watching a video of a gorilla doing planks. We watched the
video for hours because it was funny. Benvolio, Romeo, and I were learning to do planks. The planks were
hard for Romeo, Benvolio, and I to do. Planks is a hard exercise. Romeo, Benvolio, and I kept practicing, because

sentences and you need to combine some of them. Like I told you last time, please do not mention the names over and
over again. Also, try not to use the words video and site that much. As a group, you will need to rewrite this paragraph.

HOW CAN YOU USE THEIR NAMES LESS
Romeo and Benvolio were at basketball practice. Romeo was showing Benvolio how to do a lay up.

people roast turkey and potatoes.
• 10. Salvador and I removed the broken glass bottles from the beach. We tossed the
broken glass bottles in the trash.
• 11. Christine bought books for poor children in South America. She brought books about
history and science.
• 12. The homeless man did not have food to eat. I helped the homeless man by buying him
a sandwich.
• 13. Gary sold his Star Wars Action figures and donated the money to charity. He sold the
action figures for hundreds of dollars.
