Scope of Work

The inspection includes

Test Main fire panel communication to Fire Department site location monitor, fire panel printer,
all existing panels located in the S&I building, WSA, LRV Wash.
Test all fire alarm panels communication at the S&I, WSA and LRV wash at NWROF site too
outside alarm monitoring company.
Test operation of S&I and WSA fire panel communication to all RTU units and ECU units.
S&I Annual fire alarm inspection 320 FACP
S&I FM 200 Semi-Annual inspection per system
Test FM 200 dispensing area seal tight test within controlled area
Note: Testing and Inspection of FM 200 systems must be performed on weekend.
Note: All Audible devices must be tested on the weekend
WSA Annual fire alarm inspection 320 FACP
Cleaning platform annual fire alarm inspection 320 FACP
Four IIH Huts Annual fire alarm inspection
Note: IIH Huts inspection must be performed on the weekend
One Yard TPSS Annual fire alarm inspection
One Yard DC substation fire alarm inspection
Note: both Yard TPSS and Yard DC Substation inspection and test must be performed in
operation and on the weekend.
Chemical storage unit semi-annual inspection
S&I four annual wet riser sprinkler inspection
SLRV Wash annual dry system inspection
Admin area three annual wet system inspection
Cleaning platform annual dry system
53 fire extinguishers
12 Fire Hydrants static pressure and flow test

Testing/Inspection

All accessible peripheral devices will be functionally tested in accordance with NFPA 72 guide
line.

Functional/Diagnostic tests of panel functions, auxiliary/monitoring functions, and all accessible


peripheral devices should be performed by a licensed technician of that company. Smoke
detectors should be functionally tested using methods recognized and acceptable to UL and
equipment manufacturer. In case a device requires an adjustment corrections should be
performed by a licensed technician within a reasonable time during the inspection and complete
before the testing is finish.
IN Depth Testing
Testing should be performed by a licensed tech. to determine the nature of each deficiency so as
to identify the trade or discipline (i.e.: All Sprinkler Systems, HVAC system, All Monitoring
system S&I, WSA, Clean Platform, SLRV Wash, Yard TPSS Yard DC Sub, four IIH Huts and
Fire Hydrants ) to complete the deficiencies.

Scheduling
A 24 hour notification to NWROF Facility Supvr. for scheduling testing or cancellations is
required.
All testing will be performed from 7:00 am to 3:00 p.m. Monday thru Sunday

(Emergency call out) A 30 min. call back is required from the time of notification of emergency
to determine the time of arrival

Documentation all accessible components and devices will be logged for testing
results/applicable voltage readings and any discrepancies noted recommendations for correction
and any corrections made
