JOINLEADER 880 Weatherproofing Silicone Sealant

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

JOINLEADER 880 Weatherproofing Silicone Sealant is a middle/low modulus one-part,

neutral-cure, architectural grade sealant.

It has good adhesion and elongation qualification to aluminum material, glass, coated glass,

concrete, some plastic, natural stone and timber, etc., and shows no sign of corrosion or defile.

JOINLEADER 880 Weatherproofing Silicone Sealant is totally free of the influence of rain, snow,

sharp change in temperature and longtime being illuminated by ultraviolet ray.

Stable and flexible from –50°C to +200°C
Ideal for expansion, connection, perimeter and other movement joints
Excellent unprimed adhesion to a wide variety of construction materials and building components
Neutral cure – suitable for use on coated glass, galvanized steel, masonry and other porous and
non-porous substrates
Cures to a strong, flexible seal capable of withstanding movement in and around the joint.
Non-slumping, can be used in vertical and overhead joints.
Excellent weatherability, virtually unaffected by sunlight, rain, snow, ozone.
Resistant to weathering, ultra-violet radiation, vibration, moisture, ozone, temperature extremes,
airborne pollutants, cleaning detergents and many solvents.

APPLICATIONS

JOINLEADER 880 Silicone Weatherproofing Sealant is a specified, premium performance

weather sealing product specifically designed for general glazing and weather sealing in curtain wall

and building facades.

JOINLEADER 880 Weatherproofing Silicone Sealant could be used for assembling, sealing,

sticking and repairing of most glass.

As weatherproof sealant, it could be applied on the connecting and compensating seam of many

kinds of material such as glass, plating glass, ceramic tile, ceramic, etc.

JOINLEADER 880 Weatherproofing Silicone Sealant is not suitable for adapting to structural
fitting and following situations:

1. To all surfaces that bleed oil, plasticizers or solvents such as wood immersed in oil, oil crack

filler, and some uncured or sulfurized fat and to surface where is wet;

2. To the substrate that the surface temperature exceeds +50℃ or apply at temperatures below

5℃;

3. Use in the manufacturer of IG units;

4. To closed or confined areas where sealant cure may be inhabited by lack of air (silicone sealant

need the water in the air to cure);

5. To use in construction or sealing of aquariums;

6. To the painted surfaces, may cause seal failure as the paint cracking or stripping;

7. To the surfaces that with direct touch of food.

8. Do not use for structural glazing.

9. If the sealant is intended to be painted (paints do not typically adhere to most silicone sealants)

10. Not recommended for continuous water immersion applications.

11. Not recommended for use with marble and similar highly porous

Use the sealant after cleaning agent dries, around 1~2mins later. You can use two different cloth,

one for cleaning agent, and the other for sealant. （Notice that the two can’t be mixed use together, and

the second cloth will be better purified cotton and no picking.）

For better appearance, cover outside of joint areas with masking taps before application.

Cut nozzle to desired size and extrude sealant to joint areas.

Tool immediately after sealant application, make it smooth and remove masking tape before
sealant skins.

SHELF LIFE

12 months in unopened packaging in a cool and dry storage place at temperatures between +5

and 27 .

COLOR

Black, transparent, gray, bronze, limestone, precast white and white.

Also we can produce the sealant with special color upon customers' requirement.

NOTES FOR SAFE OPERATION

Keep out of reach of children. Place shall be well ventilated. Don't let non-solidified sealant touch

your eyes. If it accidentally goes into your eyes, wash your eyes with rinsing. When using detergent, the
