Objective: For my athlete to understand proper eating habits in order to have optimal energy for
1. Preassessment: Question my athlete on what he knows about eating healthy and why he
(10 minutes)
a. Calorie needs
b. Fluid needs
3. Activity: have athlete make his own plate of food that he would consider a pre-exercise
Materials Needed:
Handout/infographic of recommendations
Activity: piece of paper with a picture of a plate split into sections, pencil/pen
Evaluation/ Assessment: My evaluation of the lesson will be the activity of making his own
plate and he will make another one at the end of the session.
