All of the keynote that i have attend During IMPAC2018, really give me a lot of knowledge
and inspired me with teaching approaches for me to apply then.
On the first keynote which is about education 4. Education 4.0 is a use of digital technologies
for teaching and learning. This inspired me because students will be able to modify their
learning process with tools they feel are necessary for them. Students will learn with different
devices, different programs and techniques based on their own preference. So that, student
will never get boring and get wider information.
Next, on the second keynote which is about "Harnessing the power of E-learning". This
keynote also inspired me because this will make Students get more opportunities to learn at
different times in different places. E-Learning tools facilitate opportunities for remote, self-
paced learning. Classrooms will be flipped, which means the theoretical part is learned
outside the classroom, whereas the practical part shall be taught face to face, interactively.
In addition, for the third keynote is ‘Brain Expectation’ which is about the important role
auditory expectation plays in music perception, and how, similar to language, the structure of
music generates expectations in listeners that guide our understanding and emotional
responses. This inspire me because it is about cognitive psychology.
For Plenary that I have attend is about channeling gifted students toward excellence. This
really inspire me and makes me realize that the talent of a student in music can be develop
since kids. As a teacher we are responsible know their interests and give support. So we as a
teacher should recognize our student's talent so we can have a strategy on how to approach
this different talents.
