TP Task 3 – Planning for Learning

This task is linked to ECE3503: instructional strategies and planning for assessment. It
asks you to take on an active role in planning and preparing for active learning
environments. This task requires you to meet with your MST, and through his/her
guidance, plan a weekly plan using the school template. Evidence of implementation of
this plan is also required (added to blog with a reflection). You need 4 weekly plans for
WIKS.

What is the planning cycle?

Plan a weekly plan with your MST

Choose 1 subject and diagram the planning cycle that takes place in your school
setting.
The weekly plan for this week Oct 28th to Nov 1st 2018. I discuss with my

MST about math and English schedule and what they are going to take for

this week, for the English subject on Sunday: it will be a review for all of the

letters taken A-C-T-P and some different vocabulary words: Pumpkin- cow-

Alligator- Axe- Ten- Towel. Monday they will have the high frequency

word: we- see- to- a. Also, in Tuesday they will keep review if the phonics

but with different vocabulary words: Peanut- Cone- Teeth- Ambulance-

Cane- Pajama. Wednesday will be a lesson about blending words with /a/.

We discuss together about the lessons that she will give it to the students and

the day that will be to me. While Thursday they have to celebrate for the flag

day.
