My duties consists of writing six current news stories for a weekly sustainability newsletter that is
sent to subscribed Penn State students, as well as stories for a monthly newsletter that gets sent to
subscribed faculty and staff.

NEW ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT CHAIR

THON is a student-run philanthropy consisting of yearly preparation and events that leads up to a
46-hour dance marathon in efforts to provide financial and emotional support to children and families
impacted by childhood cancer. As the New Organization Development Chair for a THON committee,
I work with the Captain of the committee to organize and facilitate events, keep and record files of
the committee’s weekly information, and send emails for reminders, weekly updates and meeting
information.
