Ethics
Brian Kemp is an American businessman, and politician. Since 2010, he has been serving
in the 27th and current Secretary of State of Georgia. Currently, Kemp is a nominee of the
Republican for Governor of Georgia in the 2018 general elections. Taking into consideration the
ethical decisions of Knud, we shall discuss issues of ethics related to the Secretary of State Brian
Kemps actions.
Brian Kemp used controversial authentication laws to meritoriously suppress the votes of
the minority I hos race to become the next Governor of Georgia. Voting rights advocates have
criticized Kemp. From 2012 to 2018, Kemps office has canceled over 1.3 million voter's

Kemp, with almost 70 percent of the voters' application were for the African Americans who
failed to clear the states exact match standard. This action brought a lot of issues and
In my personal opinion, Brian Kemps actions were not ethical at all. Over the years,
Kemp has been malevolently welding his office power to overwhelm the votes for dogmatic gain
and hush the voices of hundreds of entitled electorates. With the common affected race being
that of the people of color. Ethically this is wrong, every human being has equal rights, and it

political power to suppress votes for his gains is also unethical, as a leader one must be honest,

and a person of integrity. The primary purpose of a leader is to serve, and treat all people equally
As a final point, Brian Kemp, must step down and resign as Georgia’s Secretary of State.
This is because he does not portray any leadership traits. By Kemps resignation and handing over
to a neutral authority the power to oversee the governor's elections, this will raise voter
confidence.
