Hello, we are Helena, Veronika and Karolyne and this is our dish called Shrimo Ceviche. It's a very
typical dish of latinamerica.

History of the name

There is many stories about the where comes the name of this recipe but we choose this theory, the
one that we liked the most : in the past the English sailors arrived al the Peruvian ports and they
tasted this dish that they called ''Sea Beach'' and nowadays is known like “Ceviche.”

Process

This is our shopping basket that contains some of the ingredients that we used. We used tomato,
onion, green pepper, lemon juice and orange juice, coriander that gives a special flavour and the
shrimp the main ingredient in this recipe.

We mixed all this to cook the dish. And as you can see we accompany the Ceviche with Chifles that
are fried bananas, they are also a tipical latinamerica snack.

Why we choose this recipe?

We choose this recipe because Karolyne is from Ecuator and she proposed us, Veronika and me to
do it. We thought that was an original and good idea.
