    Reflective writing 3

    I’ve studied Uruk before and my memory of it all seems to be influencing my

    interpretation of this. I think I already know this but I don’t quite have all the correct facts.

    Besides that though everything else is easy to understand. I get that Uruk was the first city and it

    is known for being the first to create writing and records of things. The people of Uruk

    worshipped gods and those gods were known under different names. Inanna for example was

    known by that name in Sumer but later she was known as Ishtar by Akkadians, Babylonians, and

    Assyrians. I’m enjoying reading more about the gods they worshipped, they have pretty

    interesting lives.

    Score: 4 I’m scoring myself a 3 because I think at the very least I managed summarize

    the context.
