Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

1903 was a big year for boston:

The Gardner opened, and we won
the first World Series. In that spirit,
the museum held its annual bash
the night before Fenway Park’s
opening day, as some 300 guests
(including Sox chairman Tom Wer-

ner) gathered to admire the Gard-
ner’s collection of Sox artifacts and
snack on Cracker Jacks.
