It was a brutally cold Friday for the volunteers who
collected money for the Glasgow Soroptimists’
annual Block of Bucks, but it certainly brought out
the best in the hearts of community residents who
donated to this cause as a record amount of $37,631
was raised for Saturday morning’s clothing shopping
spree for 293 Valley County children ($128.43 per
child). Pretty awesome! Pictured counting cash &
checks are Karen Waarvik and Louise Lemieux.

Nine more deer found suspect
