The 'Peer-2-Peer (P2P) project, within the AHA program, has been positively impacting the AISD community with sexual !health education since 2074, Staff have partnered with youth in schools, non-profils, and community organizations, 'as part of the Public Health Department. There are currently 17 AISD students that are PHEs. These young people {took the initiative to apply for the PHE positions, interviewed, and had their parents altend a parent orientation in July lof 2018. AHA staff & the PHEs altended a 3-day, curriculum, trainer's training, over Positive Prevention PLUS, during, the summer, as well as become certified as QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeepers, AHA staff will be assisting the PHEs, while they implement the curriculum in their schools.
