My name is José Inocencio Cuesta Vargas.

I am a student of Systems
Technology. I Work for Colombian Army; I am 25 years old and live in
Bogota with my wife. I study in the CEAD "Jose Acevedo Gomez" and I’m a
member of group 15 of the English course.

PACHAVITA, BOYACA. HAVEN TENZA VALLEY.

This Township is located south west of the Department of

Boyacá, in the Neira Province, on the eastern mountain
range; its county seat is located at a height of 1985
meters. The extension is about 68 km ². Its current
population is 2968 inhabitants and is located 76 km
from the Tunja city, department’s capital.

In this beautiful township you will find numerous tourist

sites. There you can visit
the hot swimming pool and take a refreshing
bath; you can also to visit the virgin's height, where each year
makes an international paragliding festival, with delegations from
various countries of the world. Likewise you can go to walk to the
crystals nature reserve, to delight a nice view from the Black Lagoon
and to know its myths and legends.

There are several hotels, lodges and cabins on the

outskirts of town, where you can stay and enjoy a good rest
as you could only do it in Pachavita. You can taste delicious
dishes of food and buy Boyacense souvenirs of the visit to
this beautiful town, such as ponchos, hats and crafts.

The Pachavitence people are characterized by kindness,

respect, courtesy and good manners. They are good people that
make this town an emporium of grandeur and culture. Among
the illustrious sons are Angel Humberto Rojas Pachavita
senator of the republic, Joselin
Huertas, musician and composer,
Victor M. Leguizamón cyclist, among
others.

I invite you to come to Pachavita, to know

its people, to enjoy the scenery, to breathe an air of peace and
tranquility. On November 2nd, 3rd, and 4th we will have the X
international meeting of Paragliding. Visit us to know, to enjoy and to fall
