an overview of subsea pipelines engineering. This course provides an insight to fundamentals of a robust, safe, and economical design of subsea pipeline
systems. The topics of the course are carefully selected to cover various pipeline engineering aspects from conceptual to detailed design and maintenance. The
codes followed in this course are DNV-RP-F105, DNV-RP-F109, DNV-RP-F110 and DNV-RP-F112, ASME31.4 and ASME 31.8, API 1111, and BS PD 8010.
Also, Introduction to pipeline material selection and integrity management is covered to provide solutions to maintenance and repair of pipelines.

Navid has over 16 years experience in the Oil & Gas Industry mainly involved in the upstream subsea projects and worked
for operators, design consultants and IVBs. Worked in the FEED and detailed engineering of deepwater HP/HT projects in
the North Sea - BP Devenick, BP Skarv and BG Jordbaer developments, West Africa and Middle East offshore field
developments. Expertise in design and design verification of submarine pipelines, rigid and flexible risers, umbilicals,
subsea structures and fixed offshore platforms. In addition, project manager for several projects. Worked as a
supervisor/representative on construction and fabrication sites for facilities such as jackets and topsides and
manufacturing plants for umbilicals and flexible risers.

Navid’s main expertise includes:

Project management including managing FEED and detailed design studies and design verification projects.

FEED study of Subsea Filed developments including HP/HT and deepwater files. Managing multi-discipline FEED
studies including, pipeline, and structure and control disciplines.

Design of subsea pipelines and risers including geotechnical and geophysical surveys, jacket survey, wall thickness
calculation, free span assessment, on-bottom satiability, expansion calculation, lateral and upheaval bucklin
assessments,diver and diverless tie-in spools design and pre-commissioning.

Design Verification including verification of design of subsea field developments, pipelines systems, riser systems,
umbilicals, flexible pipes and etc.

Advanced engineering including FE modelling of jackets, risers, pipe-soil interaction and design of components by using
Abaqus, Ansys, FS2000 and etc.

Pipeline and riser integrity assessment including lateral buckling assessment of bucked pipelines, free span and trawl
gear interaction assessment of scoured pipelines, integrity assessment of scoured tie-in spools of subsea structures and
integrity assessment of corroded risers.

CANCELLATION / SUBSTITUTION POLICY


IF you are unable to attend, a substitute delegate is welcomed at no additional charge. All bookings carry a 50% liability after a fully completed sales contract has been received by
M.I.C.E Global. An official letter of the cancellation must be received via email or fax 3 weeks prior to the event date in order for the balan ce of the event fee as a credit to be applied
against another M.I.C.E Global workshop or conference. Cancellation of any event with less than 3 weeks notice prior to the event date carry a 100% liability. M.I.C.E Global reserves the
right to cancel or make any other changes to the content and timing of the events or speakers for reasons beyond its control. If for any reason M.I.C.E Global decide to amend these
workshops or conferences, M.I.C.E Global is not responsible for covering airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by registrants. In the event that M.I.C.E Global cancel the event, M.I.C.E
reserves the right to transfer the booking to another event or to provide a credit of an equivalent amount to another event to be held within the following twelve months.

INDEMNITY: Should for any reason outside the control of M.I.C.E Global, the venue or speakers change, or the event be cancelled due to an act of terrorism, extreme weather conditions
or industrial action, M.I.C.E Global shall endeavour to reschedule but the client hereby indemnifies and holds M.I.C.E Global harmless from and against any and all costs, damages and
expenses, including attorney fees, which are incurred by the client. The construction, validity and performance of this Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of
Singapore to the exclusive jurisdiction of whose Courts the Parties hereby agree to summit.
