WIPRO LIGHTING PARTNERS WITH SCHREDER

The partnership will turn out to be a boon for urban cities; marketing smart city products and
beyond lighting solutions.

Wipro Lighting, a business of Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting, has signed an agreement with
Schreder, a leading global lighting solutions company, based in Belgium. This partnership will
help Wipro to market Schreder lighting products and solutions in India, along with Wipro brand
portfolio. Beyond Lighting solutions is all about IoT (Internet of Things) based use cases and
application in smart cities and smart campuses.

Mr. Anuj Dhir, Vice President (C&I), Lighting Business, Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting, said,
“India is growing at a fast pace and urbanization is transforming the country. Lighting plays a very
important role in Urban Development and helps cities and localities become safe and smart.” This
coming together of two companies will be beneficial for the smart cities mission started by the
Government of India. The objectiveis to enhancethe quality of living for citizens through superior
use of Schreder products like smart poles and smart city lights, to empower smart cities in India
and address the premium lighting requirement sof urban India.
