Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2017 – Declaration of

additional result of Skill Test
The result of Skill Test of the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination,
2017 was declared by the Commission on 28-11-2018 wherein 601 candidates
qualified for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 2211 candidates qualified for the
post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.

2. Some representations about the evaluation of Skill Test were received from
the candidates. A comprehensive examination of the result of Skill Test declared on
28-11-2018 was undertaken by the Commission and it was observed that the Skill Test
of only one Batch i.e. Batch-III of the Stenographer Grade ‘D’ - Hindi held on
09-09-2018 in SSC (Northern Region) was inadvertently evaluated with wrong Master
Passage.

3. Thereafter, based on the re-evaluation of the Skill Test for the said shift with
the correct Master Passage, 56 additional candidates have qualified in the Skill Test as
per criteria fixed in the Result Write Up dated 28-11-2018. The detail of candidates
provisionally qualifying the Skill Test is as under:

4. Therefore, total number of candidates qualifying in the Skill Test for the post
of Stenographer Grade ‘D’ now stands revised to 2267.

5. The schedule of Document Verification for these 56 additional candidates will

be held on 12-12-2018 and 13-12-2018. For Admit Cards, the candidates may visit the
website of SSC (Northern Region) i.e. www.sscnr.net.in.
