I. General Conditions;

1. Scope of the Services:

1.1 The “Consultant” shall produce and Submit designs of:-
 Architectural,
 Structural,
 Sanitary Installation,
 Electrical Installation, and
 Specification and Bill of Quantities to the “Client”.
For Jimma Integrated Youth Development Center to be owned
and constructed by Fayya Integrated Development Association
(FIDA);

1.2 Schedule of accommodation

Jimma Integrated Youth Development Center shall have the following
accommodations
A. Training Center;
 Vocational training
 Computer training
B. Service centers
 HIV/AIDS resource center
 Professional counseling support center
 Youth reproductive health center
C. Public services
 Cafeteria, sport ground (indoor & outdoor), green parks, etc.
 Multipurpose hall
 Library
 Art gallery
 Guest houses
D. Offices

2. Service Completion Time:

- 6 weeks from a design agreement signed;

3. Remuneration and Payment:

3.1 Service Fee:
The Service Fee shall equal to a lump sum amount of Eth. Birr 70,000.00
(Seventy thousands) only.

3.2 Terms of Payment:

 On signing of the agreement the “Client” shall pay 40% of the total
sum, i.e. Birr 28,000 (twenty eight thousands);
 At the accomplishment and submission of the final Architectural
Design, the second installment which is 30% of the total sum, i.e. Birr
21,000 (twenty one thousands); and
 On completion and submission of the whole project design
components specified in the scope to the “Client”, the remaining fee

 which is 30% of the total sum Birr 21,000 (twenty one thousands) shall
be paid by the “Client” to the “Consultant”.

4. Dispute resolution:
 Any dispute regarding the agreement shall be resolved in accordance
with relevant Ethiopian Code.
