Lesson Plane

Name of Student Teacher: Maryam Ablooshi. School: RAK Academy (PYP).

Planning an Inquiry Based Lesson/Activity/Project Name:

Consider your PDP goals when lesson planning. Some points to keep in mind might be:

Professional Development Plan

(What do YOU need to work on in order to grow professionally?) In my view the teacher should learn the
concept very well before she teaches it to her students because that will help her to avoid the
misconceptions during the lesson. Also, the teacher should scaffold that task to let students be able to
achieve the lesson outcomes.

1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal): How
to ask appropriate questions.
2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used): Make list of different
questions and choose the most effective ones. Look at video how teachers make powerful
questions and ask my MCT about how her ask great questions that match students level of
understanding.

3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence): That can be though looking
student’s interactions during the classroom, how they do the work the worksheet that the way the
teacher is expecting from them. Also, the least part in the lesson will give me clear idea about what
students learned.
