After review of the damage report updated in the above mentioned message, please find below a brief
summary of the current situation and Airbus repair comments:

Current situation of the document:

Performed repair instructions as specified in TRM Ref: 80542736/011, and reported below details after
rework.
L=30mm, W=27mm, Initial thickness: 1.4mm, MRT=0.48mm

Airbus repair comments:

After reviewing the damage report, find below repair comments:
If MRT is confirmed to be less than 1mm (0.48mm actually reported), then damage cannot be left in “as
is“condition, and perform below steps:
 Perform skin cut out as shown in figure – 1 below.
 Maintain 2 rows of fasteners all around the cut out and use filler to fill the cut out area.
 Adopt external doubler repair principle as per SRM 53-00-11-300-016, Figure 002 (sheet 1)
regarding fastener details and any missing information.

If the MRT value is higher than 1mm report back the MRT grid mapping after performing ultrasonic
inspection(NTM 51-10-04) and in order to know the material loss at both unriveted and riveted thickness
(1.4mm and 2mm).

Please report back with the final repair embodiment’s details (doubler thickness, installed fastener type)
for RDAS issuance.
