GENERAL:
This Technical Publication is to inform the Field that new Flywheels are released and assigned new part
numbers.

DETAILS:

The imagePRESS C1 Flywheels are updated to minimize 4 mm Pitch Lines on images. Previously, the
Flywheels were not assigned a part number. However, with this update, a part number has been created.
Uneven rotation due to insufficient inertia of the flywheel (FC8-6457) [1] may cause uneven density bands on
the image in the cross feed direction at 4mm intervals.

SERVICING:

If the symptom is displayed, please, replace both Flywheels simultaneously with the new parts described
below.

Factory Measure:
To prevent uneven density on the image, the shape of the flywheel (FC8-6457) [1] is changed (P-2) to
improve its inertia for smooth rotation.
Accordingly, the shape of the flywheel (FC8-6465) [2] is changed (P-3).
