Long hair should be tied back and dangling jewelry should be removed before operating any spinning machinery

Always wear safety glasses

Ear protection is recommended

Never leave machine unattended

Take light cuts and take them slowly

Keep near the EStop button in order to turn off the machine quickly

Downcut Spiral
Cuts Acrylic/plastics

● Clean Cut on material top


● May cause melting and burning by pushing chips down
● Ideal for thinner materials
● Spiral Action holds material down
Upcut Spiral
Best for soft material

● Clean cut on material bottom


● Prevents melting and burning by ejecting chips
Compression Spiral
Good for wood

● Combo of downcut and upcut


Feeds and Seeds
Feedrate: The distance the spindle moves relative to the time it takes to move
along the workpiece. Units are distance/time, usually in/min or mm/min.

Spindle Speed: The rotational speed of the spindle. Units are revolutions per
minute or RPM
Clamping
All 4 corners must be clamped
