Speaker Design Project
Speaker Design Project
Project
• When I started my design and research process, I knew that I wanted to make a sound bar
speaker for my room. I also designed my speaker to be a wooden sound bar.
• The success of my speaker’s sound came mainly from its length and perfectly placed
tweeter/speakers.

List the major steps of the project:
The most important thing I learned in this project is how speakers really work, on the inside.
What do you wish you had spent more time
on or done differently:
I wish that I would have spent more time on making sure that the wood of my speaker wasn’t
offset or wasn’t even.
What part of the project did you do your
best work on:
The part of the project that I did my best on was definately the soldering. I was extremely
careful on how I soldered the wires to the tweeter, amp, and speakers because I didn’t want to
mess up and ruin my project.
What was the most difficult part of this
project or what did you learn that you would
do differently:
The most difficult part of this project was making sure that the ends of my speaker were even
and were sanded properly.
I learned that sanding your project properly before you stain it is very important to make an
attractive looking project. That is one of the main things that I would do differently if I were to
do this project again.
