NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY HOSTS SPEND A DAY AT STATE EVENT

RALEIGH, NC- The staff and prospective students of North Carolina State University
had tremendous success in showcasing the College of Agriculture and Life Science
during Spend a Day at State.

The goal of this event was to cultivate interest in the majors inside of the College
of Agriculture and Life Science which serves the needs of North Carolina through
teaching, research, extension, and international programs. Through an information
session and campus tour this experience allows prospective students the opportunity to
spend a day in the life of an NC State student. This event also offers a chance to
become acquainted with faculty members in the department, and visit classes that are
in session which makes for a personalized experience with the CALS department.
