NOTICE FOR

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Period Visual checks / Service
Daily 1- Check all lubrication levels.
2- Check air pressure to pneumatic system. (For Pneumatic Machines)
3- Check level(S) of coolant tank(s) and coolant return path to tank(s).
4- Check that all guards and cover are in place.
5- Carry out daily operational checks.
Weekly 1- Drain water from air lubrication and refill with oil.
2- Refill auto lube system tank.
3- Check condition of filters and screens on control cabinet doors when
dirty, replace filter and clean the screen. Check more often when in
a dirty environment.
4- Carry out necessary cleaning of machine.
Every two 1- Check condition of tool holder and lubrication the ATC Geneva
week drive cam.
2- Check the air filter on spindle oil cooler. Check for signs of
contamination or excessive heating of the oil in spindle oil cooler
unit.
3- Check that all fasteners screening limit switches and their dogs are
tight.
4- Remove telescopic cover to view slide ways.
5- Carry out Bi-weekly operational checks.
Monthly 1- Clean the filter on the auto lube system tank and drain off any
imparities from the tank.
2- Check the conditions of the counterbalance chain and lubricate both
chains.
Annual 1- Drain spindle oil cooler unit tank flush tank and refill.
Other 1- If the machine is unused for a long period:
Necessary a) Protect spindle taper Hole.
Service b) Manually activate auto lube system before starting machine.
2- Check ground impedance level (Resistance to true earth). Every 3
months during the first year of installation and annually there after.
