Opening of Nutrition Month

Last July 4, 2014, the Opening of Nutrition Month was held in Parañaque
Science High School. In cooperation with the help of the members of boys ang girls
scouts of the school, the said event became successful. They guided the students in
going to the quadrangle in accordance with their respective years and sections.
Since it was Nutrition Month and to have energizer, students were asked to wear
P.E. uniform for the dance and aerobics or simply known as zumba. All of the
students were participating and dancing actively. Some of the Art Club members
performed a skit about the nutritional health of a person. To have some twist for
this school year’s nutrition month, the Art Club taught of the Hunger Games as the
theme for the most awaited activity. Students were raffled and to those who were
selected became tributes. A lot of exciting activities await the tributes and the
students of Parañaque Science High School.

Parade of Tributes and Stylists

A one week preparation was given to the students who were chosen as tributes
and stylists. Stylists decided on what will be the costumes of the tributes on the
parade which was based on categories in every district. All of them became
resourceful, showed their creativity and the true beauty of the event. During the
parade, students were always cheering for their favorite districts as well as the
tributes. Afterwards, the tributes were questioned showing their ideas on what
awaits them in the succeeding activities.

Nutri-Jinggle

A one week preparation to every section in all batches of Parañaque Science

High School in making the the Nutri-Jinggle about the theme “Kalamidad
Panghandaan, Gutom at Malnutrisyon Agapan”. The participants should never
exceed having 15 members. The non-participating students gave all their support.
Likewise, to those who participated gave their best until the end.
